What Causes Our Weight Loss to Stop and Why?

Many of us reach a point in our weight loss where we suddenly find that no matter what we do, we have come to a stand still with our weight loss and we cannot understand why. It can be frustrating when the numbers on the scales stop moving, particularly when we have been sticking religiously to our weight loss programme and we have achieved success up until now.

There are any inherent reasons why we may have stopped losing weight, but below are a few of the most coarse causes:

1 - Stress

Stress can influence our body in many ways, and one of them is interfering with weight loss. If our weight loss has stagnated, the first thing to do is collate how much stress we are under on a daily basis. Is our employment stressful? Are we dealing with connection or house issues? If we think stress may be the qoute we need to do what we can to conduct and alleviate stress. We can do this by practicing meditation, deep breathing or possibly yoga and take more time relaxing and doing things which we enjoy and give us pleasure. Once we feel calmer and in operate of our emotions, our weight loss should begin to advance normally.

2 - "Slimming" Foods

Are so-called slimming foods and drinks a regular part of our diet? Often these foods can do more harm than good, especially if they form a major part of our food intake. We should try cutting these out for a few days and see if we begin to lose weight again.

3 - Insufficient Water Consumption

If we have stopped losing weight we should look at how much water we have been drinking each day. If we have been drinking less than 64 ounces per day, we should start increasing our consumption. If we are not enthralling enough water our body will begin to maintain water to contend our vital organ functions, which will register on the scale. If we drink plentifulness of water each day the numbers on the scale should begin to move down again quickly.
